I made a comment that the game looked interesting and he suggested to me that if I got it I should get the PC version so I could mod it. Then one night as my friends gathered for our weekly RPG night I was watching our GM playing Morrowind on his Xbox. Even then, I only had a couple games for it that, as far as I knew, weren't available for consoles. Will it be worth the price or am I throwing away good money after bad? I invite different points of view as I really have no perspective.Ī long time ago I was also a dedicated console gamer.

In any case what I'm really looking for is a solid explanation why I should cut my losses on the console and pay-up to play on PC. Or perhaps have turn lanes in the center median as we do in real life. And what I'd like most is is traffic lane control, anarchy, and move-it mods.It would also be nice to have the ability to create your own types of roads, like say a 4-lane avenue with a dedicated bus lane and dedicated bike lane. I currently own everything except the radio packs.

I'm having a hard time digesting the fact that in order to maintain the console content I have on a PC will cost me between $70-100.
CITIES SKYLINES PC HOW TO
I don't understand how mods work, where I get them from, how to install them or how much I should pay for them.

Upon further research I found that a lot of the content that I expected is only available through "mods". Especially when I see all of the Youtube videos showing what I expected in the console version only available on PC. I have Skylines on Xbox 1, honestly I'm slightly disappointed with the game play.
